For my card, I decided to use a new die I bought recently.
Ingredients
Gelli/stencil card
Potting soil archival
Garden birds stamp set
Maya Angelou sentiment stamp
Stonewashed adirondack
Spectrum noir pencils
Versamark pen
Clear detail embossing powder
Die'sire Oval Accordion Create a Card die
First, cut out the card front using the die and two of the scalloped edge plaques.
Mask off the central oval and the overlap edge of the card front with post-it notes, and stamp the blossom branch around the frame.
Colour with Spectrum Noir pencils.
Glaze with versamark pen and detail clear embossing powder. (Sorry about the picture, this was very difficult to photograph)
Brush in the sky with stonewashed adirondack, the excess will wipe off the glazed surface of the flowers.
Stamp the scalloped plaques; one with the sentiment, the other with the blossom branch and a blue tit.
.
Colour in to match with Spectrum Noir pencils and brush stonewashed adirondack lightly round the edge of both plaques.
Glue in place onto both sides of the central oval, and add an extra fussy cut flower to finish.
Cut a piece of card for the back, and stick into place.
Hope you like it and you feel inspired to make your own shaped card. Don't forget to pop over to the Claritystamp challenge blog too, and see what my talented teamies have done too. The possibilities are endless. I can't wait to see what you'll do. Till next time. Xxx
I love this card these are some of my favourite stamps you have used. It was nice reading your blog and seeing how you made it. Xx
